Portraits
The
painting of a portrait is an unique experience for both the sitter and the painter. Each painter has a different approach
and a specific goal in mind. My intention is to capture an aspect of the client’s personality as well as an active likeness
rather than a photographic likeness. Every sitter inspires me in a different way. Color becomes symbolic and I maintain energized
brushwork in order to convey the precise moment in which the portrait was rendered.
